Ingush village put under CTO regime

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime has been introduced in the village of Voznesenskoye in the Malgobek District of Ingushetia, the regional operative headquarters has informed.

According to the headquarters, the CTO regime was introduces at 4:30 a.m. Moscow time.

The operative headquarters has urged local residents to remain calm, "not to admit chaos and mass riots, as well as not to interfere in the actions of law enforcers," the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to the Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, in 2019, the population of Voznesenskoye is 1349 people.
