Two persons killed after an attack on law enforcers in Grozny

Law enforcers killed a driver of the car, who hit three policemen in Grozny. A child in the car was also killed. According to the law enforcers, the killed suspect tried to organize an explosion at a checkpoint.

This morning, during an attack on a police department in the Shali District, two law enforcers were injured, and both attackers were killed. According to a source, a civilian female was also wounded.

In the Leninsky District of Grozny, a Mercedes passenger car driven at high speed hit three inspectors of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS), reported the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The suspect was killed during the chase. The wounded policemen were hospitalized with severe injuries, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed.

The attacker was 18 years old. His relative was sentenced for involvement in the armed underground.

An 11-year-old brother of the driver was in the car, and he was also killed.

According to a source of the Chechen MIA, a militant armed with an explosive threw a bomb to the GIBDD (road police) checkpoint. It did not explode. When trying to escape the police, the attacker hit three law enforcers with his car, the "Kommersant" reports.
