Photos of the people who attacked journalists at the action of Alexei Navalny's supporters in Makhachkala held on June 12 published in the media and social networks have made that possible to identify three of them. The number of the attackers included an official from the Mayor's Office of the capital of Dagestan and an entrepreneur from the Tlyarata District, the weekly newspaper "Chernovik" (Draft) reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Makhachkala Mayor's Office refused to sanction an anticorruption rally for June 12. At the place of the action, the police detained eight people. Several provocateurs attacked journalists Aida Mirmaksumova, Saida Vagabova, and Bariyat Idrisova, as well as the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

A provocateur, who broke a camera of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, was identified as Kamil Kasumov, a native of the Tlyarata District, one of the founders of Agricultural Production Cooperative (APC) "Chkalov". Earlier, he has been seen among participants of a motorcade of Radjab Radjabov, the leader of the Tlyarata District.

He has an accomplice in the face of Surkhai, another local resident, a specialist of a department of the Kirov District administration of Makhachkala. According to the article, he knocked a mobile phone out of the hands of the "Chernovik" correspondent and took it away from another correspondent.

According to the "Chernovik", the official was brought to a police station, but he was immediately released.

After the journalists began to file complaints to the law enforcement agencies on the fact of infringement, Surkhai was again detained. He claimed that he was a civil servant and that he could not be detained. He also claimed that he was accidentally at the place of the action. As a result, he was fined 500 roubles.
