Woman leaves blocked house in Nazran

At inspecting the house, where the militants killed today in Nazran were hiding, law enforcers found a hideout with weapons, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported. According to a law enforcement source, the casualties were the father and son Iliev. The fact that they had released a woman was confirmed by Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the Ingush leader.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, at 6:30 a.m., the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in a part of the city of Nazran, the Ingush capital. Power agents blocked a private house in Abadiev   Street; two militants blocked inside the house refused to surrender and were killed in the shootout, said the source. The NAC has confirmed this information and reported the death of two power agents during the shootout.

When removing the debris in the place of the CTO, FSB agents found a hideout with a lot of weapons and ammunition, the NAC has reported, adding that the casualties were members of the grouping, which had committed terror acts in Northern Caucasus.

According to preliminary information, the casualties were identified as the father and son Iliev, the "Interfax" reports, referring to its law enforcement source.

The fact that the casualties were relatives was confirmed by Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who commented the CTO.

"Who of them had what role in the bandit underground – it will be established by investigators; but the very fact of father's and son's participation in criminal activities is striking," said Evkurov.

According to his story, the men released the woman, who was with them in the blocked house, but refused to come out themselves, opened fire and killed two law enforcers.
