Two schoolgirls face criminal responsibility for their help to Akhmed Shevkhuzhev killed in Baksan

The law enforcement authorities have launched a check against two minor sisters from Baksan, involved in hiding in the house of Akhmed Shevkhuzhev, killed by law enforcers. The minor sisters face criminal responsibility of up to 15 years of imprisonment for aiding and abetting the suspected militant.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 10, in Baksan, law enforcers carried out a special operation, cordoned off a private house and killed a man inside it. Akhmed Shevkhuzhev was one of the men suspected of attacking inspectors of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) in the town of Prokhladny. He was a son of Sultan Shevkhuzhev, killed by law enforcers in 2009. After their father was killed, 14-year-old Akhmed and his older brother were brought to the police and questioned by law enforcers.

According to investigators, Akhmed Shevkhuzhev was hiding in the house, where 15- and 16-year-old schoolgirls lived together with their mother.

"The schoolgirls kicked their mother out of the house to ensure no one knowing about the wanted man, hiding at their place," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".

According to a source from the investigating bodies, law enforcers had to delay a special operation because of the fact that the schoolgirls stayed in the house together with Akhmed Shevkhuzhev. At present, the schoolgirls argue that Akhmed Shevkhuzhev urged them to have sexual relationship with him, the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" reports.

Let us remind you that the age limit for terrorist crimes was reduced from 16 to 14 in July, when President Vladimir Putin signed a package of anti-terrorism laws, known as "Irina Yarovaya's package".
