The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, referring to its law enforcement source, that on September 9, in the city of Izberbash, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained an alleged militant suspected of involvement in the murder, near the village of Sergokala, of two people, including the above Magomed Nurbagandov.

At night of July 10, two young men were shelled and killed in a forest near the village of Sergokala. One of the killed men was a policeman. On September 7, during a special operation carried out in the town of Izberbash, three suspected militants were killed. In the mobile phone of one of the killed suspects, law enforcers discovered a video record showing how an armed man tried to force the policeman to urge his friends and acquaintances to leave their service at the law enforcement bodies. In response, the policeman addressed his friends and said: "Keep working, brothers!" After this phrase, he was shot dead. He will be posthumously nominated for a state award, Irina Volk, the spokesperson of the Russia's MIA, announced on September 11.

Today, the ICRF has confirmed the September 9 detention, but clarified that there were two detainees. Arthur Bekbolatov and Aziz Djamaludinov were detained on September 9 in Izberbash, the press-service of the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the ICRF reports.

Investigators believe that Magomed Khalimbekov and Amalatbek Bagatyrov, killed at rendering armed resistance during detention, had also to do with the murder of Magomed Nurbagandov and his brother Abdurashid, the above press service has specified.
