Relatives of Musaev and Suleimanov state power agents' involvement in their disappearance

Magomed Suleimanov and Omar Musaev, who disappeared in Dagestan, are kept by power bodies, assert their relatives, who have held a spontaneous rally in Makhachkala today. They fear that the detainees are tortured.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Magomed Suleimanov went missing in Makhachkala on June 3; and Omar Musaev – on June 9 in Khasavyurt.

Today, their relatives went to a spontaneous rally in central Makhachkala demanding from law enforcement bodies to provide information about the missing persons. Policemen tried to disperse the rally.

In particular, the rally was attended by Omar Musaev's mother. "We came to the rally because in Khasavyurt we can't find out where Omar is. He was kidnapped on June 9 – today is the third day that we have no information about him. Everywhere they tell us: 'he was not brought to us'," she told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The woman is sure that power agents are keeping her son; she is afraid that Omar's life is in danger.

The fact that Magomed Suleimanov is also held by power agents was reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by his brother.

"Informally, they tell us that he is held by the police, but no one confirms it officially. Why do they hide him? Let them give us information and admit an advocate. If he is guilty, let them prove his guilt and judge him under the law. Having come to this rally, we want to get information about the kidnapped persons – and that's all," he said.
