Five policemen wounded in landmine explosion near Shali

Five policemen were wounded when their Ural truck hit a landmine near the district capital Shali, Chechnya, a source at the Shali interior department reported on Friday.

The bomb exploded on Thursday, November 27, two kilometers outside of Shali damaging the truck of the Shali police carrying officers from Altai Territory, who were on detachment in the North Caucasus.

The four officers and one ensign were taken to a military hospital.
