Azerbaijan Defense Minister: war with Armenia is possible to be resumed

"The longer Armenia holds occupied territories of Azerbaijan, the higher the chances of war resumption," Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Safar Abiyev said November 21 while talking to Deputy Commander of the United States European Command General Charles Wald. The occupation policy of Armenia, which builds up its military potential due to its patrons, does not make for easing tension in the region, according to the minister.

In his turn, General Wald said the U.S. attaches special importance to the relations with Azerbaijan and is interested in the extension of cooperation in the military field. He highly estimated Azerbaijan's help to the antiterrorist coalition.
