Orlov: "Caucasian trace" possible in Moscow metro tragedy

The so-called "Caucasian trace" is possible in the explosions in Moscow metro, believes Oleg Orlov, Chairman of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial".

"Perhaps, now I can agree with some special agents who tend to believe, based on their preliminary data, that the Moscow explosions were committed in revenge for what happens in the Caucasus. They say that it could be revenge for liquidation of Said Buryatskiy; besides, Dokku Umarov had said many times that similar actions will be transferred to the territory of Russia," said the human rights activist.

"We all remember how many collisions have happened in the Caucasus in 2009. It is not surprising that the echo of these events had thundered in Moscow. It quite well could be like that. The events in the Caucasus could become the reason of explosion in Moscow metro," Oleg Orlov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"I'd not dare forecasting what will happen in Russia, in the Caucasus and in power agencies after the tragedy; I can only say that I'm anxious. I'm anxious of unreasonable by cruelty so-called 'response actions' to what happened. This is the death penalty issue and all types of reinforced special operations, insignificant by effect but tremendous by the damage they cause," said Orlov.

Political scientist Mark Urnov does not exclude that under the guise of war on terror "the unfortunate opposition will be suppressed again", which shows the necessity of observing the Constitution. "They'll say that in general such rallies are inadmissible, as they enable terrorists to do their black business," he said.

Let us remind you that the speaker of Chechen parliament Dukvakha Abdurakhmanov accused Moscow special services of negligence and complicity to terrorists, since they failed to ensure sufficient safety of such "strategically secured object like metro."
