Azerbaijan: protest actions of opposition are going on

Democratic Party of Azerbaijan Secretary General Sardar Jalaloglu came out at the press conference that was held at the party headquarters on October 18. According to his words, the party will continue its struggle and achieve that the totally falsified results of presidential elections be abolished. He said, "We announce with confidence the winner in the elections is Musavat party leader Isa Gambar, who was a sole candidate of the "Our Azerbaijan" bloc."

"More that 40% of the opposition voters were not inscribed in the voter lists. People took a more active part in these elections, if compared with previous ones. They are tired of living under conditions of dictatorship, chaos and high-handedness of state officials. The authorities got into the habit of juggling with results. But we will not give them such a chance and will prove our victory at any price," stressed Sardar Jalaloglu.
