Forum of Country Librarians

The Forum of Country Librarians is starting its work in the settlement of Veshenskaya in the Rostov region on August 26. It is conducted under the aegis of the Russian Ministry of Culture with the assistance of the regional Ministry of Culture and the Don State Public Library.

The aim of the Forum is to promote librarianship development in the Rostov region, to strengthen bonds between country libraries and authorities of different levels. A program "Country Library as an Informational and Educational Center of the Local Community - Creation of the Development Model" will be presented during the Forum.
