State Interior Department of Krasnodar region is considering three main versions of explosions in Krasnodar

The State Interior Department of the Krasnodar region is considering three main versions of the explosions that happened on Monday morning in Krasnodar. The principal version is terrorism.  This was reported at the press-conference in Krasnodar by the head of the Department Militia Lieutenant-General Sergey Kucheruk.

He noted that on Monday morning three explosions took place at the interval of 2-3 minutes in the Prikuban, Zapadny and Karasun administrative districts of Krasnodar. As a result of the explosions, three people died virtually on the place of the incident, 17 people got wounds and contusions of different severity. 11 people are staying at the hospital at the moment, said Mr. Kucheruk.

The bombs were explosive devices without casing, filled with bolts, nuts and screws, reported Mr. Kucheruk.

He mentioned that the regional State Interior Department did not exclude the version of hooliganism and considered it possible that mentally unstable people, supposedly former participants of military actions, were connected with the explosions.

The State Interior Department of the Krasnodar region also refuted information being publicized by some mass media that after the first three explosions in Krasnodar the forth one had followed.
