Destruction was reported in the Rostov region after a drone attack.

A drone attack in two districts of the Rostov Region damaged a private home and wind turbine installations, and in the regional center, damaged household utilities.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of May 12, a drone was destroyed in the Millerovsky District of the Rostov Region, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported. According to him, there were no injuries.

In the Rostov Region, "two dozen UAVs" were shot down last night and this morning, Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel. "In the cities of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and Novoshakhtinsk and four other districts of the region: Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Kamensky, and Krasnosulinsky," he listed.

There were no injuries, but there was some destruction on the ground, the official noted. "In the village of Likhoy in the Krasnosulinsky District, the roof and windows of a private home were damaged. There were no injuries. In the Zimovnikovsky and Krasnosulinsky Districts, wind turbines were damaged as a result of falling UAV debris. There were no fires. There was a loss of estimated power. Emergency crews are working at the scene," Slyusar wrote.

Also, according to him, UAV debris was found "near two buildings – a commercial and an administrative building" in the Pervomaysky District of Rostov-on-Don. "There are no fatalities or injuries. There are no fires. Utilities were damaged," the publication states.

As a reminder, on the night of May 8, in the village of Chaltyr in the Myasnikovsky district, a drone attack damaged 50 private homes and three cars. A missile impact in the same area caused a fire and the collapse of a warehouse building.

On May 8, drones also struck the building of the regional center in Rostov-on-Don, which controls air traffic in southern Russia. As a result, operations at 13 airports were suspended (Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Gelendzhik, Grozny, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Magas, Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Sochi, Stavropol, and Elista). Later that day, Rosaviatsiya reported that all of these airports were ready to handle flights. Air traffic with these cities was fully restored only on May 10.

In the Rostov Region, a ban is in effect on filming aerial attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military unit locations. The corresponding governor's decree was published on the "Caucasian Knot."
