On the night of February 24-25, Lieutenant Colonel Khasan Tumgoyev was killed in the military operation zone, Ingushetia's head, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, announced on May 3.

The officer was 36 years old. Khasan was born and raised in the city of Sunzha, where his family lives. He graduated from the Yaroslavl Higher Military School of Air Defense named after Marshal of the Soviet Union Govorov, served in Syria, and rose to the rank of division commander in one of Russia's key air defense units. "His wife and four children were waiting for him at home," the head of the republic said on his Telegram channel, announcing Tumgoyev's awarding of the title Hero of Russia.

Thus, at least 192 fighters from Ingushetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
