The property of former State Duma deputy Rizvangadzhi Isaev has been seized.

A court in Krasnodar has seized the assets of former State Duma deputy Rizvangadzhi Isaev, his family, and associates, including 18 billion rubles, for state control.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," at the end of February, the Krasnodar court received a lawsuit from the Prosecutor General's Office demanding the seizure of land, houses, and business shares belonging to former State Duma deputy Rizvangadzhi Isaev and his associates. The total value of the property exceeds 10 billion rubles.

A court in Krasnodar upheld the Prosecutor General's Office's claim to seize the assets of former State Duma deputy Rizvangadzhi Isaev, his relatives, and associates, the unified press service of the Krasnodar Krai courts reported on April 27.

The court agreed with the prosecutor's office's arguments that Isaev, using his status as a deputy, seized state land and municipal property in Krasnodar. Specifically, this concerns a 615-hectare plot of land that was purchased for 15 million rubles. The deputy promised the city authorities to build and transfer utility and social infrastructure facilities to the city, but failed to do so.

Using illegal proceeds, Isaev implemented major development projects in Krasnodar, including the residential areas "Europe," "German Village," and the Marriott hotel complex.

After the lawsuit was satisfied, 18 billion rubles were transferred to the state treasury, along with several Krasnodar city infrastructure enterprises, including Krasnodargorgaz and the Autonomous Thermal Energy Company.
