Drones shot down in Rostov Oblast

Last night, the military shot down drones in the Verkhnedonsky District of the Rostov Region. According to the governor, there are no injuries.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of April 21, drones were shot down in Taganrog and 11 districts of the Rostov Region. The attack damaged homes in the village of Rekonstruktor in the Aksaysky District.

Last night, drones were destroyed in the Verkhnedonsky District, Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel. "No information about casualties or damage on the ground has been received," he added. The official did not specify the number of drones shot down.

As a reminder, on April 19, three people were injured in an aerial attack in Taganrog, where the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex is located. The grounds of the aircraft factory and park were cordoned off following the airstrike. Telegram users suggested that authorities evacuate the plant outside the city limits for the safety of residents.

Car damage has repeatedly appeared in reports on the consequences of drone attacks in the Rostov Region, but compensation for them was not provided until December 2025.
