The prosecutor's office has demanded the seizure of the property of the former governor of the Rostov region.

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office intends to transfer the property of former Rostov Region Governor Vladimir Chub, as well as several former officials and businessmen, to the state.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," deputies of the Murmansk Regional Duma on December 24 voted in favor of former Rostov Region Governor Vladimir Chub for the post of Senator from the Murmansk Region.

The Prosecutor General's Office has demanded that the property of former Rostov Region Governor and former Senator Vladimir Chub, billionaire and founder of one of Russia's largest agricultural holdings, Yug Rusi, Sergei Kislov, founder of the investment holding Alias ​​Group, Boris Yunanov, former Shakhty Mayor Denis Stanislavov, and his father, Ivan Stanislavov, former Vice Governor of the Rostov Region, as well as individuals and legal entities affiliated with them, be transferred to the state, RBK reported today.

Four companies are also named as defendants: Neorazvitie LLC, Specialized Developer Malyugina LLC, Fintrek LLC, and Konkur LLC, Interfax reports. According to the publication, the beneficiary of these companies is Boris Yunanov, the founder and chairman of the board of the Alias ​​Group holding company, which owns the developer Neometriya.

Sergey Kislov, a billionaire who was included on Forbes' list of Russia's richest businessmen in the 2000s, has at various times owned stakes in several of these enterprises. Kislov founded the Yug Rusi holding company, a manufacturer of vegetable oil, mayonnaise, sauces, and canned goods. Its brands include Zolotaya Semechka, Zlato, Avedov, and Milora.

Vasily Kislov, the full namesake of the entrepreneur's father, to whom he transferred his remaining business in 2024, including the Donskaya Gofrotara and Yug Rusi Bread Factory factories, was also among the defendants.

The supervisory authorities believe that the property of Andrei Barutenko, the former general director of the Malyugin 2 company (whose beneficiary is listed as Yunanov), and businessman Artur Grigoryan are also subject to forfeiture to the state.

The "Caucasian Knot" also reported that at the end of January 2026, the Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar ruled to confiscate the property of former chairperson of the Rostov Regional Court Elena Zolotareva, who was convicted of corruption, for state use.
