Two soldiers from Kamyshin were killed in a military operation.

Dmitry Moshkov and Yaroslav Sidorenko were killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,737 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by March 29, at least 1,735 soldiers from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

Dmitry Moshkov from Kamyshin was killed in the military operation, the Volgograd publication "City News," founded by the municipal institution "IAV," reported today.

"Moshkov died on March 12, 2026. He will forever remain 39 years old. He is survived by his children and wife," the publication states.

The publication previously reported that Kamyshin resident Yaroslav Sidorenko was killed in the military operation. "A 24-year-old soldier died while on duty in a special military operation zone. A serviceman with the call sign Dale departed on a combat mission in the direction of Shcherbinovka on October 8, 2025, and was listed as missing in action for a long time," the statement reads.

Thus, at least 1,737 soldiers from the Volgograd Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
