Restrictions have been lifted at airports in southern Russian cities.

At the airports of Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, and Krasnodar, restrictions imposed due to flight safety concerns have been lifted. The military reported downed drones in the Volgograd and Rostov regions and in Kuban.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," last night, Rosaviatsiya announced the suspension of operations at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, and Krasnodar.

Aircraft landing and departure restrictions have been lifted at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, and Krasnodar, the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) reported on its Telegram channel. "The restrictions were introduced to ensure flight safety," the publication states.

Last night, air defense alert systems intercepted and destroyed 102 Ukrainian drones, including in the Volgograd and Rostov regions, Krasnodar Krai, and over the Sea of ​​Azov, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, the remaining drones were shot down in the Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh, Penza, Ulyanovsk, and Samara regions, and in Crimea.

The Volgograd Region administration, as of 9:55 a.m. Moscow time, had not reported the overnight attack on its Telegram channel.

As a reminder, last night, one person died in a drone attack in Taganrog, and eight more required medical assistance. In the city, 12 apartment buildings and 27 private homes, as well as 10 cars, were damaged.

In Krasnodar, three people were injured as a result of a drone attack : an adult and two children. They received medical care on the spot and did not require hospitalization.

In September 2025, a ban was introduced in Krasnodar Krai on the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, and on filming air defense operations, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense operations. The corresponding regional legislative assembly bill was published on the "Caucasian Knot."

In Rostov Oblast, a ban is in effect on filming aerial attacks and their consequences, air defense operations, and the locations of military units. The corresponding governor's decree was published on the "Caucasian Knot."
