At least 4,384 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,519 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The Kamyshin administration announced today the presentation of a posthumous award to the family of Private Viktor Krasnoshchyokov, killed in the military operation.

Krasnoshchyokov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, according to a publication on the municipality's Telegram channel. Officials did not provide his age or biographical details.

Thus, at least 1,732 soldiers from the Volgograd Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The death of a soldier from Kamyshin was previously reported on March 20. Then it became known that Nikolai Ivanyuk had been killed in the military operation.
