A fighter from South Ossetia was killed in Ukraine.

Soslan Kisiev, killed in the SVO zone, has been buried in Tskhinvali. At least 48 combatants from South Ossetia were killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," Vadim Margiev, killed during the fighting in Ukraine, was buried in South Ossetia on March 24. At least 47 combatants from South Ossetia were killed during the special operation.

Tskhinvali has paid tribute to Soslan Kisiev (call sign Iron), who was killed in the special military operation zone, the state news agency "Res" reported, publishing a video of the funeral.

Kisiev had been missing in action for exactly one year. It was only now that his body was returned to his homeland. Soslan Kisiev was 48 years old. He is survived by five children.

Prime Minister Dzambolat Tadtayev, Russian Ambassador to the Republic Marat Kulakhmetov, and the fighter's family attended the funeral. By decree of the President of South Ossetia, Soslan Kisiev was posthumously awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.

Thus, at least 48 fighters from South Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
