31 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan in one day.

In the past 24 hours, 31 people crossed the Iranian-Azerbaijani border, including 13 Russian citizens and six Azerbaijani citizens.

According to the "Caucasian Knot," as of March 14, 2,360 people, including 300 Russian citizens, were evacuated across the Iranian-Azerbaijani land border.

On March 15, another 13 Russian citizens were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan through the Astara state border crossing, Trend reports.

In total, six Azerbaijani citizens, including a diplomat, eight Chinese citizens, three employees of the Swiss diplomatic mission, 13 Russian citizens, and a Kazakh citizen, for a total of 31 people, passed through the border crossing in one day.

On February 28, Israel and the United States began striking Iran. Donald Trump announced the start of a large-scale military operation. In response, Iran launched attacks on Israel, American military installations, and civilian targets in the Middle East, according to the Caucasian Knot report "Key Issues on the Impact of the Military Conflict with Iran on the Caucasus."

On March 5, a drone attack on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic injured four people. Ilham Aliyev called the attack a "deliberate terrorist act by Iran," and the Azerbaijani army was put on alert.
