Residents of the village of Chertkovo in the Rostov region were left without power last night as a result of a drone attack. Power has already been restored to their homes. Drones were also shot down in the Astrakhan and Volgograd regions and in Kuban, the Ministry of Defense reported.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of March 9, military forces shot down 16 drones in the Krasnodar Territory, three in Adygea, two in the Rostov Region, one in the Astrakhan Region, and one in the Volgograd Region.

Last night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 185 Ukrainian drones, including in the Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Rostov Regions and the Krasnodar Territory, the Ministry of Defense reported on its website.

Drones were also shot down over the Sea of ​​Azov and the Black Sea. The rest were destroyed in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Samara, Saratov regions and in Crimea, the publication says. The agency did not specify how many drones were shot down in each region.

In Taganrog and five districts of the Rostov region – Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Neklinovsky, and Kuibyshevsky – more than 40 drones were shot down, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.

A power line was damaged, but there were no fires.

In the Rostov region, there is a ban on filming aerial attacks and their aftermath, air defense operations, and military units. The "Caucasian Knot" published a corresponding governor's decree.

In other regions of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts, including the Astrakhan and Volgograd regions, filming drone attacks and their aftermath is also prohibited.
