Security forces reported the second murder of a mother of many children in Dagestan this week.

A mother of four from the village of Krasny Voskhod was killed by her partner out of jealousy; the suspect has been detained, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. According to sources, the detained mullah regularly beat the woman. A week earlier, it was reported that a suspect in the murder of Malvina Magomedova, a mother of three, had been detained.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on January 29, police discovered the dismembered and charred body of 36-year-old mother of three Malvina Magomedova. A resident of Derbent, Rajidin Yaraliev, was wanted on suspicion of murder. Sources believe the reason for the quarrel and murder was the sale of a car. It was also reported that Yaraliev had multiple criminal records and that he and Magomedova had entered into a nikkah (Islamic marriage, - Caucasian Knot note). On the same day, the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs detained him. He confessed to the murder and was arrested for two months.

Dagestan police have detained a suspect in the murder of a resident of the Kizlyar District. On December 14, 2025, in the village of Krasny Voskhod, the 31-year-old native of the Kazbekovsky District strangled his 35-year-old partner (his second wife). The suspect and the deceased were in a religious marriage; the marriage was not legally registered. On the aforementioned day, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a fight broke out between them due to the man's jealousy of the woman. During the fight, the man strangled the woman. After making sure there were no witnesses, he loaded the body into a car, took it to the Tarumovsky District, and buried it on the outskirts of the village, the head of the press service for the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gayana Gariyeva, reported today.

The woman's relatives did not search for her, as she had previously left several times without notifying anyone, and reported her missing only two weeks later. The deceased left behind four children, the youngest of whom (their child) was seven months old. Police detained a suspect in Makhachkala; a murder case is being investigated, the report said.

According to sources, the detainee is a mullah. According to acquaintances, he constantly and baselessly accused his wife of infidelity. He was so jealous that it regularly resulted in beatings, writes MashGor.
