A soldier from Stavropol was killed in Ukraine.

Ruslan Glushko from the Sovetsky District was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have acknowledged at least 905 combatants from the Stavropol Krai killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by January 25, at least 904 servicemen from Stavropol had been officially acknowledged as killed in the combat zone in Ukraine.

Ruslan Glushko, a participant in the fighting in Ukraine, was buried in the village of Gorkaya Balka, the administration of the Sovetsky Municipal District of the Stavropol Krai reported.

Glushko was killed in the Donetsk Oblast in March 2025; he was 23 years old at the time. He served in the 150th Motorized Rifle Division and used the call sign "Rus" in the combat zone, according to a post on the municipality's official Telegram channel.

Thus, at least 905 soldiers from Stavropol have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "NVO Statistics: Losses Are Growing in Southern Russia."

The administration of the Soviet Municipal District of Stavropol named one of its fellow countrymen killed in Ukraine in September 2025: Kirill Karayani, a mobilized soldier from the village of Soldato-Aleksandrovskoye, was named. In August 2025, the municipality reported that Alexander Melnikov, also a resident of the village of Gorkaya Balka, had been killed in fighting in Ukraine.
