A new drone attack has been recorded in two regions of the Southern Federal District.

This morning, the military shot down two drones in the Astrakhan region and one in the Krasnodar region.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, 24 drones had been shot down in the Krasnodar region, four in the Astrakhan region, and one each in the Rostov and Volgograd regions. Another nine drones were destroyed over the Sea of ​​Azov and the Black Sea, the Ministry of Defense reported.

Between 7:00 and 9:00 Moscow time, air defense systems on duty destroyed three Ukrainian drones, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

All drones were shot down in the Southern Federal District. "Two UAVs were over the Astrakhan Region, and one UAV was over the Krasnodar Region," the post stated.

The Kuban operational headquarters reposted this post on its Telegram channel without adding any additional information. Astrakhan Region Governor Igor Babushkin, as of 12:03 a.m. Moscow time, had not reported any drone attacks on his Telegram channel.

As a reminder, in September 2025, the Krasnodar Krai banned the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as the filming of air defense systems, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense systems. A corresponding regional legislative assembly bill was published on the "Caucasian Knot."
