Seven fighters from the Volgograd region have been declared killed in Ukraine.

Authorities of the Sredneakhtubinsky district presented awards to the relatives of servicemen killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,646 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by January 27, at least 1,639 soldiers from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

At least 4,194 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,310 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The Sredneakhtubinsky District administration held an awards ceremony for the families of fellow countrymen killed in the military operation, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel on January 26.

The publication names privates Yevgeny Chernov, Mikhail Ivkov, Leonid Zasukhin, Vladislav Panteleyev, Corporals Alexander Kaledin and Alexey Korinets, as well as Junior Sergeant Alexander Chupin.

Thus, at least 1,646 soldiers from the Volgograd Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
