Deaths reported in Adygea and Krasnodar Krai following drone attacks

Parts of a human body were found at the site of a drone attack in the village of Novaya Adygeya, Takhtamukaysky District. The governor of Krasnodar Krai also reported two fatalities at the port terminals in the village of Volna, Temryuksky District.

As reported by Kavkazsky Knot, on the night of January 20-21, a multi-story building was damaged by a drone attack in the village of Novaya Adygeya, Takhtamukaysky District. Thirteen people were injured, including two children, nine of whom were hospitalized. Residents of the building were evacuated to a temporary accommodation facility on the grounds of the Shapsug recreation center; a total of 27 people are at the temporary accommodation facility. A state of emergency was declared at the district level.

"Unfortunately, while clearing the rubble at the site of the enemy strike on the village of Novaya Adygeya, investigators discovered fragments of a human body. Special genetic tests have been ordered to determine their origin and the number of casualties," Murat Kumpilov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Veniamin Kondratyev, governor of the Krasnodar Krai, also reported casualties following drone attacks in the Krasnodar Krai.

"This evening, port terminals in the village of Volna in the Temryuk District were hit. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries. According to preliminary information, two company employees were killed and several others were injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, four oil storage tanks caught fire at the terminals. 97 people and 29 pieces of equipment, including employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, were involved in the cleanup efforts.
