Krasnodar officials and prosecutors inspected the quality of snow removal in courtyards, and over 200 violations were identified in two days. Local authorities claim that more than 30 pieces of specialized equipment are clearing roads, but Krasnodar residents claim they have not seen any.

As reported by Caucasian Knot, on January 12, Krasnodar City Duma deputy Alexander Safronov published a video about the condition of the streets in Krasnodar, stating that he had not seen any snow removal equipment in the city. Telegram users confirmed the deputy's observations, expressing outrage at the inaction of utility services.

More than 200 violations related to snow removal from courtyards were identified in Krasnodar. Employees of the Housing Department and the Prosecutor's Office conducted joint raids on January 12, inspecting over 500 courtyards and identifying 108 violations. On January 13, they inspected another 323 courtyards and identified another 115 violations, according to Krasnodarskie Izvestia.

Based on the inspection results, reports were drawn up, copies of which were sent to the prosecutor's office.

It was also reported that more than 1,700 employees of management companies, homeowners' associations, and housing cooperatives are participating in the snowfall cleanup in Krasnodar.

Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov reported that more than 450 kilometers of roads and 60 streets were cleared of ice in 24 hours. Nadezhda Lutai, Director of the City Department of Information Policy, stated that thanks should be given to city services. "Let's enjoy this short winter and not grumble. Let's say thank you to the city services, the people who clear the courtyards, roads, and sidewalks," Yuga.ru quotes her as saying. Naumov also reported that 30+ pieces of specialized equipment were clearing the city streets on January 13. However, many commenters on the Yuga.ru Telegram channel noted that they did not see a single piece of equipment on the roads. Some, however, saw equipment that wasn't clearing the streets, but simply parked. Today, the Krasnodar and Krai News Telegram channel published information about a recent meeting of the regional task force for snowfall response. Vice Governor Yevgeny Pergun chaired the meeting, stating that the situation on regional and federal highways remains normal, but in Krasnodar itself, it remains tense "due to the ongoing snowfall and difficult road conditions." To address the situation, the number of specialized equipment is planned to be increased to 45 vehicles today. It was also announced that street clearing work will continue around the clock.
