A tattoo artist from Krasnodar Krai was fined for extremist symbols.

A court in Krasnodar Krai fined tattoo artist Kirill Bortsov two thousand rubles for posting an example of his work on social media containing extremist symbols.

Kirill Bortsov, a tattoo artist from the village of Vyselki, was fined for publishing extremist materials.

Bortsov posted examples of his work on his Odnoklassniki page, including a tattoo of the "Svarog Square" pattern, which is included in the list of extremist designs, Krasnodar journalist Andrei reported on his Telegram channel on January 5. Koshik.

According to him, the image on the social network was discovered by operatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Center for Combating Extremism, and a judge from the Vyselkovsky District Court fined Bortsov two thousand rubles.

The court's website published a ruling imposing an administrative penalty on Bortsov under Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "for promoting or publicly displaying Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols confusingly similar to Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations, or other paraphernalia or symbols, the propaganda or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws."

According to the court, Bortsov posted on the social network symbols used by a public association recognized as extremist in Russia. The tattoo artist admitted his guilt and expressed remorse. The sentence was handed down on December 19, 2025.

It should be noted that in April 2024, Bortsov was already fined two thousand rubles under a similar article of the Code of Administrative Offenses, although the decision imposing the administrative penalty did not specify the reason.

Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that in early December last year, the court imposed administrative arrest on a Sochi resident, in whose post security officials found symbols of a banned organization.
