According to the Krasnodar Territory operational headquarters, the vessel ran aground 50 meters from the shore. It was traveling without cargo, with 11 crew members on board, according to a message published on January 5 in the headquarters' Telegram channel.

There were no casualties in the incident; the crew evacuated independently on Lifeboats. No negative environmental consequences have been reported.

Volunteers from the "Dolphins" headquarters, who are cleaning up the coastline from oil spills following the sinking of two tankers in December 2024, called the incident with the grounded vessel "news of the day" on their Telegram channel and promised to monitor the situation.
