Five soldiers from the Krasnodar region were killed in a military operation.

Sergey Litvinov, Viktor Marmer, Evgeny Rakov, Roman Zubov, and Vyacheslav Kongar from the Tuapse District were killed in action. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, authorities and security forces have recognized at least 821 soldiers from the Krasnodar Territory as killed.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on December 17, 2025, awards were presented to the relatives of soldiers killed in action in the Tuapse District. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 816 soldiers from the Krasnodar Territory have been officially recognized as killed in it.

Sergeant Sergei Litvinov, Privates Viktor Marmer, Evgeny Rakov, Vyacheslav Kongar, and Roman Zubov were killed in the military operation, the Tuapse Municipal District administration announced, reporting the presentation of posthumous awards to the soldiers' families.

For several years now, Dagestan has consistently ranked first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District in the number of people killed, whose names have been officially released by the authorities. Back in February 2022, the head of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, was the first government official to declare that a Russian soldier had been killed in Ukraine, acknowledging the death of officer Nurmagomed Gadzimagomedov.
