Three districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones.

According to official reports, no one was injured.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," a drone attack on the night of January 2 in Sochi damaged an apartment building. The building's residents were not injured, authorities reported.

On the night of January 2, drones were recorded in three districts of the Rostov Region and over the waters of Taganrog Bay. "Overnight in the Rostov Region, UAVs were destroyed and suppressed in the Verkhnedonsky, Chertkovsky, and Sholokhovsky districts, as well as over the waters of Taganrog Bay," Governor Yuri Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel. According to preliminary data, the official clarified, there are no casualties. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, six UAVs were shot down over the Rostov Region on the night of January 2. Earlier, between 4 and 11 PM on January 1, the ministry reported the destruction of 16 drones over the region. As a reminder, Rostov Region authorities have determined the compensation payment procedure to vehicle owners whose property was damaged as a result of drone attacks. The resolution provides for compensation of up to 500,000 rubles for a damaged vehicle and up to a million rubles for a destroyed one.
