Krasnodar residents appealed to Putin over broken roads and garbage

Residents of the Muzykalny microdistrict in Krasnodar recorded a message for the Russian president's direct line, complaining about the state of the roads and the lack of garbage collection. They say their appeals to local authorities have been ineffective.

As reported by the " Caucasian Knot ," on December 15, residents of Krasnodar's Yubileyny microdistrict recorded a video message to Vladimir Putin protesting against the embankment development. According to City Duma deputy Alexander Safronov, over a thousand people participated in the protest  . Safronov was summoned to the police on December 17 because of the video message.

Residents of the Muzykalny microdistrict in Krasnodar recorded a message to Putin. About 20 people gathered in front of overflowing trash bins. They complained about the state of the roads and the lack of garbage collection. 

"We're asking you to help us. We've appealed to our city leaders multiple times, but there's been no results. We live in filth and trash," says one of the petitioners.

By 12:30 PM Moscow time, this video had garnered 3,201 views and 18 comments on the Krasnodar Teletype Telegram channel, which has over 138,000 subscribers.

"After such massive appeals, will the city and regional authorities be fired?" Vladimir Grigorenko asked.

Earlier, Krasnodar residents, together with representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, began collecting signatures  demanding the resignation of Mayor Yevgeny Naumov. By November 25, activists had collected over 1,000 signatures demanding the mayor's resignation.
