Rosaviatsiya has closed three airports in the North Caucasus.

Grozny, Vladikavkaz, and Magas airports have been closed to flights for the third night in a row. A no-fly alert has also been declared in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Stavropol.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of December 2, Rosaviatsiya imposed restrictions on flight arrivals and departures at airports in Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Magas, Makhachkala, and Nalchik. On the night of December 3, similar restrictions were imposed at Grozny, Magas, and Vladikavkaz airports.

Rosaviatsiya has imposed temporary restrictions on aircraft departures and arrivals at three airports in the North Caucasus, Rosaviatsiya spokesman Artem Korenyako reported. At 3:56 a.m. Moscow time, operations at Vladikavkaz (Beslan) and Grozny (Severny) airports were restricted, and five minutes later, at 4:01 a.m. Moscow time, operations at Magas Airport were also restricted.

"The restrictions are necessary to ensure flight safety," the agency's press secretary wrote on his Telegram channel.

At 1:58 a.m. Moscow time, the head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, announced that a drone alert had been issued in the republic. "Mobile communications and internet service may be slow," he wrote.

A drone threat has also been in effect in Dagestan since 1:42 a.m. Moscow time, according to a message on the republic's official Emergency Situations Ministry channel. "Mobile internet service disruptions are possible," the message stated.

At 1:47 a.m. Moscow time, the head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazbek Kokov, issued a drone threat warning, noting that "mobile internet may slow down in some places." Even earlier, at 1:16 a.m. Moscow time, Vladimir Vladimirov, the head of Stavropol Krai, issued a drone threat warning.

The "Caucasian Knot" also reported that Chechnya was the only region in the North Caucasus Federal District where drones were shot down on the night of December 2. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported four drones destroyed over the republic's territory.

Opposition Chechen Telegram channels claim that drones damaged military facilities in Gudermes and Achkhoy-Martan on December 2. Official authorities have not commented on the damage caused by UAVs. Chechen blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov* published a video of a drone strike and a photograph of a heavily damaged building behind a fence with the emblem of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs on the gate.
