Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov announced the transfer of the Zhukov Medal to the family of slain Major Alexander Pereverzev on his Telegram channel.

Alexander Viktorovich Pereverzev was an employee of the Border Service of the FSB of Russia. In September of this year, he was killed in the line of duty while carrying out combat missions to protect the state border in the Kursk region, the statement said.

Thus, at least 847 fighters from Stavropol have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
