After completing his military service, Daniil signed a contract and served as a scout sniper. On February 25, 2022, Junior Sergeant Danil Aleksandrovich Artemov was killed in the Kherson region, the Gukovo administration announced today, reporting on a basketball tournament dedicated to the soldier.

Thus, at least 766 soldiers from the Rostov region have been officially recognized as killed in the war zone in Ukraine.
