Daudov reported on the number of fighters from Chechnya in the SVO zone

There are 14,000 fighters sent from Chechnya to the military operation zone, according to the head of the republic's government, Magomed Daudov.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," Chechen authorities regularly report on the dispatch of groups of fighters from the republic to the military operation zone in Ukraine. 61,221 fighters have been sent from Chechnya to participate in the military operation in Ukraine, including 22,321 volunteers. Of these, 13,000 fighters are currently in the combat zone, Ramzan Kadyrov reported on August 5.

Chairman of the Chechen Government Magomed Daudov reported today on his Telegram channel with the Chief of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation – Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Yevgeny Burdinsky.

During the meeting, key issues related to the special military operation and the achievement of the SVO goals were discussed, including the combat work of Chechen units within the special operation and their logistical support, the report states.

According to Daudov, "14,000 fighters from the Chechen Republic are carrying out combat missions" in the SVO zone. Daudov did not say how many of them arrived in Chechnya from other regions of Russia to sign contracts.

It should be noted that Chechen authorities report that all fighters who are sent to the military operation zone as volunteers undergo training at the Russian Special Forces University in Gudermes.

The Russian Special Forces University is a training center in Gudermes, organized by Ramzan Kadyrov, where volunteers are trained for deployment to the war zone and where the Akhmat special forces unit is based.
