An oil and gas facility caught fire after a drone attack in Kuban.

Equipment at an oil and gas company in the Kanevsky district of Kuban caught fire after a drone attack. The emergency response team reported the fire had been extinguished.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on August 30, a drone attack caused a fire at the Krasnodar Oil Refinery. It was extinguished the same day. On September 7, equipment at the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai caught fire as a result of a drone attack. Authorities reported on the prompt extinguishing of a fire.

In the village of Novominskaya in the Kanevsky District, a fire following the fall of a drone's wreckage has been extinguished, the Krasnodar Krai emergency response team reported today.

"Information about a fire on the territory of an oil and gas company was received by the municipal emergency dispatch service on the night of September 17-18. After the fall of the drone's wreckage, equipment ignited over an area of 20 square meters. The fire was quickly extinguished at 3:49 a.m. by employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Krasnodar Krai. There were no casualties," the emergency response team reported on its Telegram channel.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that on September 5, Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev signed a decree prohibiting the filming and dissemination of information about the use of drones, air defense systems, military facilities, and critical infrastructure in the region.

As a reminder, three Nizhny Tagil residents, after being detained by police, apologized for filming a video against the backdrop of an Adler oil depot that caught fire following a drone attack on the night of August 3, before Kondratyev's ban was introduced. The Adler District Court fined Karina Oshchurkova 30,000 rubles for recording the video against the backdrop of the burning oil depot. She attributed her actions to alcohol intoxication. The author of the video against the backdrop of the burning Adler oil depot did not violate the high alert regime or the state of emergency, and the fine under this article is unlawful. Her lawyers also pointed out that her video does not show drones or air defense systems, which the police accused her of filming.
