Assets of former head of Supreme Court of Adygea confiscated

A court, at the suit of the Prosecutor General's Office, transferred to the state the assets of the former Chairman of the Supreme Court of Adygea Aslan Trakhov and his family for a total of more than 13 billion rubles.

Initially, the claim was filed in the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar, but then it was transferred to Volgograd, since there was information about Trakhov's connections in the judicial system of Kuban and Adygea.

214 real estate objects were transferred to federal ownership, the decision taken is subject to immediate execution. 100% of the shares of OOO TK Monorama Adygeya and OOO Lucky, which owns property worth 5.5 billion rubles, were seized. Also seized were 118 land plots with a total area of 26 hectares worth 3.7 billion rubles, 71 commercial buildings and premises with a total area of about 13 thousand square meters worth three billion rubles, 11 residential buildings and premises with an area of 2.1 thousand square meters worth 1.1 billion rubles, 14 unfinished construction projects with an area of 3.8 thousand square meters worth 74 million rubles.

According to the prosecutor's office, Trakhov registered land plots and houses in the name of his wife's father, wife and son. Trakhov's daughter bought 68 properties for 520 million rubles - these are apartments, houses and land plots in Maykop, Krasnodar and Novorossiysk. 27 of them were subsequently sold.

In In 2019, Aslan Trakhov, upon reaching the age limit, resigned from the post of Chairman of the Supreme Court of Adygea, after which the nominal owners of his assets began to return them to the family of the former judge.

During the trial, Trakhov and his son Rustem Trakhov admitted that they used their official position for personal purposes to acquire the aforementioned assets.
