A motorized rifle regiment named after Akhmat Kadyrov has been formed in Chechnya; its servicemen are ready to leave for Ukraine, Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the republic, has stated today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 29, the head of Chechnya reported that another group of volunteers who had been trained at the Russian University of Special Forces has flown to the zone of the special military operation from the Grozny Airport.

Chechnya has finalized the formation of the 78th motorized rifle regiment named after Akhmat Kadyrov as part of the 42nd motorized rifle division, Ramzan Kadyrov has written today in his Telegram channel. "As of today, the military personnel of the new regiment can start their full-fledged service," he wrote.

The regiment was staffed "in the shortest possible time"; its commander is Zaindi Zingiev, Kadyrov has reported. According to his story, "thousands of young people had expressed their readiness" to go to the zone of the special operation in Ukraine.

Let us remind you that on August 22, Kadyrov threatened to deprive the families of low-income residents of Chechnya, whose young members refuse to get enrolled in the new Chechen military units, treating those who have refused to get recruited as parasites.
