Rostov LGBT female activist tells about second attack within a week

The man, who had attacked the Rostov LGBT activist, Anna Dvornichenko, during her picket, has disrupted her lecture by throwing a smoke bomb into the café.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 31, Anna Dvornichenko needed doctors' help after she was attacked during her picket in defence of LGBT people. Later, she told that a man ran up to her, splashed something into her face from a spray can with a cry "Down with Sodom and Gomorrah!" and ran away.

A new attack was committed on Sunday, August 4, but Anna Dvornichenko herself spoke about it only today. "The same man, who had attacked me at the picket, made the same again," she wrote in her page on the "VKontakte" social network.

The lecture was on the topic of "interaction of feminism with LGBT activism". According to Dvornichenko, after the first attack, activists and journalists received threatening letters – LGBT opponents promised to continue attacks.

Anna Dvornichenko has noted that the attacker "blocked the exits from the café" and the audience had to evacuate through the window.

The activist has added that applications were submitted to the police "both on the fact of the attack, and on the fact of threats, and on the fact of property damage in the café," the "161.ru" has written today.
