The Council of Europe called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to speed up their democratic reform and meet all the commitments entered into by them when they joined the organization three years ago.

The Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe particularly underlined in its report published in Strasbourg that Armenia must pass laws on the mass media activity and Azerbaijan must release all political prisoners.
