The Social Fund's data on pension amounts has raised skepticism among residents of North Ossetia.

The average pension for non-working Russians in August was 25,849 rubles, and it exceeded 30,000 rubles in 13 regions of the country, according to data from the Social Fund. Residents of North Ossetia, commenting on this information on social media, expressed doubts about the provided data, reported significantly lower pensions, and pointed out that even 30,000 rubles is insufficient given the current prices.

The Social Fund's version regarding pension amounts was also published on September 28 by the Instagram*-public northossetia, which has about 417,000 followers. As of 08:40 Moscow time on September 29, this post received 61 likes and 32 comments.

Commenters, identifying themselves as residents of North Ossetia, expressed doubts about the provided data. "Who has 30? Lucky ones," wrote khamurzova.rita.

"It's not true, such a pension can only be for pensioners over 80 years old, for others it's up to 20,000 or a little more," pointed out irina_irihka_m.

Other participants in the discussion reported receiving pensions of about 15,000 to 20,000 rubles. "I have 15,000. I also don't know where the rest are," wrote elzagigolaeva2.

Another group of commenters indicated that even a pension of 30,000 rubles is insufficient given the current level of prices and expenses. "And what is this enough for? Moreover, not everyone has 30," pointed out user korean_cosmetics015.

"What is 30,000! With our prices for everything. Is that a lot of money? I have four years until retirement, and I've already been calculated at 16,900. I'm in shock," exclaimed svetlanaosipovaprimkrai.

"Pensions and salaries are small for many now, while prices are high. The authorities should pay attention to the prices in stores, salaries, and utility tariffs. How long can they mock people? It's already hard for us to dress and shoe our children. It's terrible. How are we supposed to live? My husband has been in the hospital for several months with a back injury. And I'm home alone with the kids. We have no means left, I can't even buy groceries in the store. We have no relatives to turn to. Tears in my eyes every day, I feel sorry for the kids. My youngest daughter's birthday is tomorrow, but I can't even treat her to sweets. <…>", wrote olec.hka001.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of North Ossetia periodically complain about the lack of income for basic expenses. For instance, on September 15, a pensioner from the village of Gizel reported that her pension is not enough for basic expenses, particularly for utilities and medications. On August 16, residents of the republic complained about the high cost of preparing children for school and the insufficient amount of state assistance.
