"There is a threat of the use of UAVs (unmanned boats) in Sochi. The city operational headquarters has decided to temporarily restrict access to beach areas and embankments. Rescuers and security are warning of possible danger using loudspeakers, and verbal notifications are being made on the shore. I urge residents and guests of the resort to take precautions," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.

Recall that on September 9, after an attack by unmanned boats in Sochi, eight people required medical assistance, five of whom were hospitalized. The explosion damaged part of the Primorsky embankment.

On September 24, 2025, when two people died during an attack by UAVs and unmanned boats in Novorossiysk and Tuapse, people in Gelendzhik and Sochi were ordered to leave the beaches. However, some vacationers in Sochi returned to the sea. People in coastal areas risk becoming accidental victims during attacks, so the evacuation of vacationers from the beaches was a justified measure, specialists indicated.

In the Krasnodar region, a ban on disseminating information about drone attacks and their consequences, filming the work of air defense, military facilities, and critical infrastructure has been in effect since September 2025. In December 2025, the authorities of Kuban introduced fines for filming air attacks and air defense operations.
