A member of the Novorossiysk electoral commission disagreed with the decision to extend the elections for a week.

The territorial electoral commission of Central Novorossiysk introduced four days of early voting from September 14 to 17. A member of the territorial electoral commission from the Communist Party voted against this decision, as it effectively makes full control over compliance with electoral procedures impossible.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", members of the electoral commissions of the Krasnodar region in a collective letter urged the Central Election Commission of Russia to hold elections to the State Duma in one day due to high risks of night falsifications. In response, the Central Election Commission stated that their appeal contains no facts of falsifications due to multi-day voting.

The voting for the elections of State Duma deputies in Novorossiysk has been extended to 7 days.

This decision was made by the territorial electoral commission of Central Novorossiysk. Now, early voting will also be held on September 14, 15, 16, and 17 at polling stations No. 3701–3726 and No. 3728–3729, the "Kubizbirkom" project reported today.

A member of the territorial electoral commission from the Communist Party, Alexander Gistsev, voted against this decision and issued a special opinion. "The introduction of four additional days of early voting, in addition to the existing three, effectively makes full control over compliance with electoral procedures and the preservation of voted ballots in their original form impossible. This decision reduces voters' trust in the electoral system and the legitimacy of the elections," he noted in his special opinion, a screenshot of which is attached to the publication.

According to the decision of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, the elections to the State Duma in 2026 will take place over three days - from September 18 to 20. According to the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, the multi-day voting format is not only convenient for voters but also an essential element of security. Putin signed a decree appointing a single voting day on September 20, RIA "Novosti" reported.

During the gubernatorial and municipal elections in the Krasnodar region in 2025, observers from the Communist Party recorded violations. The Telegram channel "Kubizbirkom" spread a video showing police not allowing people onto the polling station territory in Hot Key. A candidate for the city council of Krasnodar from the Communist Party, Anna Revyakina, also reported violations during home voting. On September 13, 2025, observers and a candidate were forcibly removed from one of the polling stations, while a commission member remained inside, even though the station should have been closed and sealed. It was also reported that at polling station 1007 in Hot Key, an observer from the Communist Party was prohibited from recording the vote count.
