Krasnodar residents reported closed shelters during the drone attack.

Residents of Krasnodar complained that last night during the drone attack they were unable to access the basements designated as shelters.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", last night Krasnodar was attacked by drones, three people died, and the total number of injured reached up to 12.

During the night drone attack, residents of Krasnodar again faced closed doors of basements that are supposed to be used as shelters, the publication "Krasnodar Online" reported today.

One of the residents of the city from Ignatov Street stated that during the attack she and her neighbors did not know where to take shelter. "Where are we supposed to run if drones are circling right above the house?" – the publication quoted her words.

The publication also included several photographs of closed shelters. In one of the photos, a door is seen locked.

In a video published by the publication, filmed by a local resident, a man descends into the basement to the shelter door, but it turns out to be closed. "The city is being bombed, we can't get to the shelter," said a resident of Krasnodar.

As of 13:44 MSK on August 24, there are no comments on the Krasnodar administration's website regarding residents' complaints about the inaccessibility of shelters during the drone attack.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of the Krasnodar region periodically complain about the inaccessibility and unsuitability of premises designated for shelter. For instance, on August 9, a resident of Krasnodar complained that during an air raid alert she was unable to access a shelter on Simirenko Street with her four children because it was closed.

On May 4, social media users criticized the list of underground facilities published by the authorities of Tuapse, pointing out that some of them were closed or unsuitable for sheltering.
