Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria complained about difficulties in receiving family benefits.

Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria reported difficulties in receiving family benefits due to exceeding the established income level, peculiarities in accounting for the earnings of self-employed individuals, and other eligibility criteria, noting that they have submitted appeals multiple times.

A video segment from the "Russia" channel tells the story of a resident of Nalchik, Sati Bitokova, who became one of the recipients of the new state support measure. The woman shared that she contacted the client service of the Social Fund, where she was explained what documents were needed, and about two weeks after submitting her application, she received the benefit.

"I just went to the client service, the girls explained what documents were needed, what the timelines were. I submitted my application, and literally two weeks later, the benefit was already there," Bitokova said.

The video segment was published by the Instagram*-public _07_kbr, which has about 218 thousand followers. As of 09:40 MSK on August 23, this post received 448 likes and 65 comments.

Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria complained about repeated refusals to grant the benefit. "I have submitted my application so many times, and I always received a refusal. I receive up to one and a half years from my employer, and that’s it, I don’t receive any benefits from the state," wrote family_24_28_1.

"I submitted eight times, each time receiving a refusal for different reasons; the last time the refusal was due to exceeding by 38 rubles," wrote bashorovtimur.

As of 09:40 MSK on August 23, there were no comments on the website of the Social Fund branch in Kabardino-Balkaria regarding residents' complaints about refusals to grant the new family benefit.

For instance, on October 30, 2022, social media users reported difficulties in receiving child benefits, including refusals due to income levels and property criteria. On August 6, 2021, residents of the republic complained about refusals to provide social support measures, including benefits for families with children.

On February 7, 2021, it became known that a resident of Kabardino-Balkaria went to court after the Pension Fund denied him a social benefit for a child. The man was told that the law does not provide for payments to the father.

The court agreed with the agency's arguments. The man claimed that his civil rights and the interests of the child were violated. In this case, it is a matter of a shortcoming in the law, said lawyer Mukhadin Kardanov.
