Residents of North Ossetia complained about the high cost of preparing children for school.

This year in North Ossetia, sending one child to school will cost parents about 30,000 rubles, journalists calculated. Local residents, commenting on these calculations on social media, pointed out that actual expenses are even higher, especially for families with multiple children, and complained about the insufficient amount of government assistance.

According to "KrylyevTV" estimates, to send one child to school in North Ossetia, parents will have to spend about 30,000 rubles. Compared to last year, expenses have increased by approximately five thousand rubles.

The post with the journalists' calculations was published by the Instagram*-public region15.info, which has about 456 thousand users. As of 10:55 AM Moscow time on August 16, the publication received 266 likes and 52 comments.

Parents indicated that 30,000 rubles may not be enough for the complete preparation of a child for school. "That's just for clothes! What about school supplies?" – asked liudmilagogichaeva. "That's not enough if you buy everything," – noted zalina11043. "Prices for school uniforms have really gone up. Plus, there are also school stationery," – wrote juliaru101.

Commenters noted that expenses become particularly significant for families with multiple schoolchildren. "Well, that's just for one child," – wrote nadezda1988v. "And that's not the limit, but that's for one child, what if there are two or more?" – asked tedeeva5027. "You can only manage that for one child. I won't even mention having five, I'm out of the count," – shared veronichkapopova93.

Some users complained that government assistance does not cover the costs of preparing for school or is not available to all families. "The government allocates only 8,241 rubles for one child. How can you dress them for that amount?" – asked al.ina8325_dzg.

"For large families and low-income families. Although I have a large family, I was denied," – complained kriskobesova. "And many are even limited in benefits, although many rely on them," – noted marishka_samaeva.
